THE STRANGE THING
What is that thing anyway? Where did it come from?
So you saw the strange thing. You spotted the signs inviting you to see "the strangest thing you've ever seen" and now you just want to know what it was.
Well - honestly, we don't know what it is. It's passed from one person to another for many years. Before it came into my possession, it toured sideshows all over the country - perhaps farther for many years.
Before touring sideshows, the lore claims that it was discovered at the bottom of a well shaft in Kamchatka, Russia by workers who didn't know what they'd found. When the thing passed into my possession, it came with a couple of documents indicating that scientists had examined in and had no idea what it is.
So what is it? You tell me
Where did it come from? Decide for yourself.
But the real question is: why in the world is it sitting in a box, traveling to random places, and why did you find yourself passing by the box checking out the strangest thing you ever saw?

So What Do I do? What can I do to solve the problem?
There is a solution to the problem we all have.
Could what you saw in the box, be an accurate reflection of someone's heart? Maybe even your own?
We instinctively know something is wrong with mankind.
While we want to believe that we're "good people," we know that's not the truth. While we're capable of doing good , we're also selfish, we lie, cheat, and steal.
Ultimately, our hearts aren't good - they're desperately wicked.
There is a solution to the problem we all have.
So What Do I do? What can I do to solve the problem?
There is a solution to the problem we all have.
The problem with a wicked heart is that you can't fix it yourself any more than you can perform your own heart transplant.
You need a new heart.
There is a solution! it was provided by the creator of the universe - God.
He created you, and everyone else.
We have all sinned, and as a result, have separated ourselves from this holy God who created us.
The problem is that YOU can't do anything.

The great joy is that it's already been done. God sent His Son, Jesus to live a perfect life and die on the cross for sin. He rose from the dead on the third day.
The solution is to repent of your sin and believe in Jesus.
Agree that you're a sinner in need of a Savior, and trust in Jesus and what He did as your only hope.
